Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?

You do not need an appointment to visit our showroom! Feel free to drop by and check out our showroom at your own pace.

We recommend appointments if you are wanting a more in depth understanding of our products.

How long will my IN STOCK sofa bed take to arrive?

All in stock orders will be actioned immediately and you can expect to hear from someone within 48 hours to discuss delivery terms.

Melbourne Metro deliveries are all handled by our internal warehouse team. This includes assembly, installation into your home, a demonstration on arrival and rubbish removal.

How long will my CUSTOM ORDER sofa bed take to arrive?

If you have custom ordered your sofa bed, it is a 16-20 week lead time for all made to order pieces.

From your orders arrival to our warehouse, we will be in touch once we have processed all orders to arrange payment for the balance of your account and to book you in for delivery.

Can I purchase floorstock pieces?

Yes, we are open to selling our floorstock pieces depending on how long they have been on the floor etc. The sale of our floorstock is up to the discretion of our sales staff. Discounts are considered according to the condition of the style. These discounts are not stacked on top of promotional or trade discounts.

Our showroom is treated with respect and care by our customers and by our staff, and the condition of our display pieces are a reflection of this.

Does my order come assembled?

If you are located within Melbourne, your order will be assembled and delivered by our in house team. Our Standard Delivery in Melbourne includes: Assembly, installation and rubbish removal. Our team will give you a demonstration on delivery to help familiarise you with your new multi-functional sofa bed!

Do I need to add ‘additional assembly fee’ to my order?

If you are interstate and are wanting your order to be delivered assembled, this cannot be performed by a courier so we need to proceed with an expert furniture removalist. This is a higher rate as it needs to be handled with a lot more care and precision. The additional assembly fee will include installation into your home by the removalists.

What is Standard Shipping if I am interstate?

Standard Shipping is a boxed delivery of your sofa bed, it will arrive boxed and on a pallet as our pieces are quite heavy. This service is door to door, the courier cannot assist you in bringing it into your home.

Our pieces are designed to be assembled by the consumer,  throughout Europe our products are exclusively delivered flat packed. All instructions and tools are included upon arrival, and our team are always here to help if you get stuck!

What coverage is included under my warranty?

Innovation Living Melbourne has an extended warranty that is included with your Innovation sofa bed. You can see what is included in your warranty here. We try and provide the upmost care and service to keep your Innovation sofa bed in the best working order! Our passion for sustainable products means we can isolate and replace all parts necessary. If replacement parts are required and deemed faulty, we can arrange a replacement. Call out services are an additional fee for repairs.

Do you offer any storage options?

We understand that some furniture purchases happen during new builds or renovations! We offer 3 months complimentary free storage for your sofa bed, we just need a weeks notice once your space is ready!

If your circumstances change and you need us to store your sofa for longer, we charge $100 monthly for continued storage.

How do I care for my Innovation sofa bed?

Can I get replacement covers for my sofa bed?

Yes, you can order replacement covers if your sofa has detachable and washable covers and change them yourself. These are great for a refresh, or to have as an alternative set so you can add some variety to your sofa’s upholstery!

If you are wanting replacement covers for a sofa that does not have detachable and washable, these can be ordered with other provisions.

Can my sofa be reupholstered?

If you are wanting replacement covers for your sofa, but your design does not have easily detachable and washable covers – not to worry! We can still order replacement covers for you, to reupholster  your sofa, it will need to be brought to our warehouse and our team can do the rest! Re-upholstery labour and collection/delivery are an additional cost.

Is there parking at your Carlton North showroom?

We have on street parking on Rathdowne St, or Davis St which runs perpendicular to Rathdowne St. Being a part of Rathdowne Village means it can get quite busy, but you can usually snap up a park no problem!

Can I collect my sofa bed myself?

Yes, we have a warehouse located in Fairfield if you wish to collect your order! You can request whether or not you would like it assembled or unassembled. This is usually determined by the size of your vehicle, or the access to your space once you arrive home. We strongly advise you measure your vehicle before collection, we are happy to provide any measurements needed whether it be boxed or assembled!

Can I collect my order from the showroom?

Collections from the showroom are only available on orders for homewares or accessories. All orders of sofa beds and day beds must be collected from our warehouse in Fairfield or booked in for delivery.

What payments do you accept?

We can accept cash, Zip-Pay, direct deposit, and all credit cards (in-store and over the phone. For all in stock orders we need payment in full, and for customer orders we need a %50 deposit and the balance on arrival.

How can I track my order?

If your order is in stock, our sales team will be in touch to discuss delivery options with you and book you in. If you are interstate, we will liase with our delivery partners and provide the relevant tracking information needed! Our courier deliveries have online tracking, where as our furniture removalist partners will book a time in with you directly!

Does my sofa bed need a mattress topper?

Depending on what your preferred level of comfort is, a mattress topper is a great option to give you choices! Our sofa bed range has a varied level of comfort, if you prefer something soft then any design with No-Zag Spring or Standard Pocket Spring could benefit from a mattress topper.

Do I need to store my mattress topper?

Yes, the topper requires storage when not in use. If you are limited for storage you can opt for a style that has the ‘Dual Pillowtop‘ option – or you can look at a style that has an internal storage compartment.

What sheets fit my Innovation sofa bed?

Because our sofa beds follow Danish mattress sizes, they vary slightly from our the sheet sets you may have at home. On most linen sets there should be some forgiveness which will allow your standard Australian sheets to fit our designs. The exception to this rule would be the Cubed 160. 160x200cm sheets can be found online or at most major linen retailers.
